About Us

Central Mass Firearms Academy opened in January 2009 as a place where serious people come for serious firearms training. Unlike some of the larger firearms schools where they are driven by profit and make you feel like just another number, we at Central Mass Firearms Academy are small so we can be dedicated and focus on the needs of the individual students.

All of our classes are either one-on-one or held in a small group setting in a very relaxed and comfortable environment. We at Central Mass Firearms Academy love what we do and we take pride in being able to pass on our vast knowledge, skills and passion for firearms to the student and make them safe, comfortable, confident and proficient with firearms.  

• 1996-2003 Proudly served in the United States Marine Corps
• October 2007 Achieved NRA Range Safety Officer Certification
• 2007-2008 Instructor at Boston Gun Range
• January 2008 Sworn in as Reserve Deputy Sheriff for Worcester County
• April 2008 Achieved NRA Pistol and Home Firearm Safety Instructor Certification
• May 2008 Received Massachusetts State Police Certification as a Basic Firearms Safety Instructor
• March 2009 Completed SigSauer Academy Law Enforcement Semiautomatic Pistol Instructors Course
• April 2009 Achieved SigSauer Academy Semiautomatic Pistol Law Enforcement Armorer Certification
• May 2009 Achieved Smith and Wesson Academy M&P Pistol Law Enforcement Armorer Certification
